Sairam's blessings for a Happy Diwali!

Blessed is he who knows the greatness of his guru

and thinks him to be hari, hara and brahma (trimurti) incarnate

The wise are cheerful

and content

with their lot in life

Do not bark at people and don’t be aggressive,

but put up with other's complaints

Saburi (patience) ferries you across to the distant goal

There is a wall of separation between oneself and others and between you and me.

Destroy this wall!

God is not so far away.
He is not in the heavens above,
nor in hell below.

He is always near you

Meditate always on my formless nature,

which is knowledge incarnate, consciousness and bliss.

Meditate on me either with form or without form,

that is pure bliss

Meditate on my form

from top to toe

as you see here night and day

Meditator will be one with the consciousness

and be merged in the brahman
